Go Hanshin Tigers! Go!

Japan Research Institute at Mitsui Financial Group issued a report on the 12th showing that the economical effect on the Kansai region if the Hanshin Tigers were to win the Japanese Central League. The report states that the local economy will gain 113,000 million yen in total if the Hanshin Tigers are crowned champions come September.

The Hanshin Tigers are well-known for its great number of enthusiastic fans, so it is expected that the consumption generated by the transportation to the stadium and the sales of related goods will give a big boost to the Kansai economy. The topics of this baseball team is only consolation for this region where the economy has been hit severely by Japan's depression.
