With its Head Office and Development Center located in Kansai Science City in Kyoto Prefecture, Takako Industries Inc. manufactures high-pressure hydraulic pumps at plants in Japan, the United States and Vietnam. These pumps are essential for use in a wide range of applications including in construction equipment, forming machines, machine tools, ships, etc. In particular, the company is a world leader in the field of axial piston pumps, supplying around 80% of the total worldwide demand for the rotary cylinder block piston ASSY units that function as the pressure generating sections of this type of pump.

Takako Industries also provides continuously variable hydrostatic transmission (HST) devices that integrate a hydraulic pump and a motor. These palm-sized devices are available in a range of specifications that precisely match individual customer demands.

From a global environmental protection viewpoint, we have developed hydraulic pressure pumps as next-generation systems and also commercialized high-pressure water pumps and hydraulic motors. In future, we expect these devices to be widely employed in equipment used by the food processing, semiconductor and chemicals industries.

In addition, the company’s subsidiary Takako Medical Corporation is providing washing machines for medical equipment, etc. used in the dental medicine field, which help to prevent the spread of hospital infections.

At its Head Office and its production plants in Japan, the United States and Vietnam, Takako Industries is endeavoring to manufacture even higher quality products that secure the trust of its customers by concentrating its energies on optimizing its production system and developing more advanced products and technologies.
