NEKKEN KAGAKU KOGYO CO., LTD. manufactures and sells special coatings with superior resistance to heat and chemicals. Coatings can be divided into general coatings and those with special properties. In the marketplace, general coatings outperform special coatings overall, but the general coatings are produced by large corporations. Nekken has specialized in special coatings, and as a unique company in its category, holding 65% of the market share in heat and chemical resistant coatings.

Nekken’s heat-resistant coatings can withstand up to 1200° C and are used for applications such as manufacturing plants and local garbage incineration facilities Harmful substances derived from garbage accumulate inside the smokestacks of such facilities and condense, producing nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. When those substances corrode the coating and cause rusting, environmental pollution, particularly, air pollution results. Nekken’s coatings help protect the environment with its anti-heat and anti-chemical coatings.
