“Devoted to screw manufacturing for more than 60 years”, Fuji Seisakusho Co., Ltd. is a flourishing maker of hexagonal polished nuts that was certified as a JIS indication authorized manufacturer in 1975. Since that time, the company has continued to manufacture standard nuts, special nuts, ultra-high nuts, self-locking nuts, etc., while taking a craftsman’s pride in the high quality of its products.

The company maintains a sufficient store of raw materials such as iron, stainless steel, brass, etc. at all times to allow it to manufacture many different kinds of nuts in a wide variety of sizes ranging from small-diameter 6mm to large-diameter 150mm products.

Fuji Seisakusho’s most marked characteristic is that it is a manufacturer of large sized special machine nuts, a category of products that is manufactured by only a few companies in the entire nut industry.

Large sized nuts occupy 70% of the company’s sales, and it is the industry leader in this category with a 50% market share. Large sized nuts are widely used in the construction industry and are an essential element in large bridges. They are employed as wire binding nuts on large suspension bridges such as the Seto-Ohashi Bridge and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and they meet the severe inspection standards required of construction parts for use in the offshore Kansai International Airport as well as for nuclear power plants.

More generally, such nuts are also used in the shipbuilding, heavy equipment and specialized rolling stock industries. Another characteristic of Fuji Seisakusho is its ability to carry out large item small volume production. “In the case of large sized nuts, we accept orders as small as for a single piece,” declares the company. Almost all of its products are manufactured by skilled workers using its own originally developed automated nut machines and screw cutting machines.

Recently the demand for self-locking nuts has been growing steadily, a development that has fueled progress in research into this technology. Fuji Seisakusho has launched a succession of new self-locking nut products in response to a wide variety of application demands, including the Fuji double lock nut, triple lock nut, quick nut, speed nut, etc.

Attention is also currently focusing on the ultra-high nut, which has a length of 500mm. Together with the large sized machine nut, the ultra-high nut has been certified as a Higashi Osaka brand product.
